1. Project Overview

Project Period: January 2026 – PresentMode of Transport: Air FreightDestinations: Australia and the Middle East

Main Routes:

• HKG – DOH / MEL / SIN

• PVG – DOH / SIN / MEL

• PEK – DOH / SIN / MEL

Realogistics was entrusted with transporting a shipment of robotic equipment and related components. The shipment involved multiple product categories, including various items requiring air transport identification reports.

As different items had different identification names, hazard classifications, and packaging requirements, some small components also lacked the required identification documents. This increased the complexity of document verification, cargo segregation, packing, and transportation planning.

2. Cargo Details

The shipment primarily included:

• Robot units

• Lithium battery components

• Chemical reagents and testing consumables

• Structural components and other accessories

Certain items, including lithium batteries and chemical reagents, required corresponding air transport identification reports. The identification names, hazard classifications, and packaging requirements varied across different cargo items.

3. Key Challenges

01 | Multiple Cargo Categories and Complex Documentation

Different items had different identification names, requiring item-by-item verification of the physical cargo, packing lists, and identification reports to prevent discrepancies that could affect booking, security screening, and transit operations.

02 | Proper Segregation of Identified Cargo and General Cargo

Some items were classified as dangerous goods and could not simply be combined with general cargo for transportation. Cargo had to be classified and handled according to its characteristics and applicable transport requirements.

03 | Missing Identification Documents for Certain Small Components

Some small accessories lacked the corresponding identification reports and required separate assessment and transportation planning.

04 | Strict Transit Review Requirements

Transit through Middle Eastern airports required advance verification of identification reports and declaration documents to ensure compliance with airline and transit handling requirements.

4. Realogistics' Solutions

01 | Item-by-Item Verification and Cargo Classification

Each box was opened and checked against the physical cargo, packing list, and identification reports. Cargo was classified and documented according to identification names and cargo characteristics to ensure consistency between the goods and declaration documents.

02 | Tailored Air Freight Arrangements and Packaging Compliance

Cargo with valid air transport identification reports and meeting the applicable transport requirements was arranged for air freight. Packaging, labeling, and declaration documentation were handled in accordance with the relevant requirements.

03 | Separate Transportation Planning for Cargo Without Identification Reports

Small components lacking identification reports were separated and assigned an appropriate alternative transit route rather than being transported together with dangerous goods requiring identification documentation.

04 | Advance Transit Coordination and Document Review

Realogistics coordinated with airlines and transit agents in the Middle East in advance to review identification reports and declaration documents, confirm transit acceptance requirements, and monitor flight and transit progress.

05 | End-to-End Follow-Up and Timely Updates

Realogistics followed up on cargo verification, documentation, packing, and flight arrangements, keeping the customer informed of transportation progress throughout the process.

5. Project Summary

Through item-by-item cargo verification, appropriate cargo classification, and advance document review for transit, Realogistics coordinated the transportation arrangements and related operational procedures for this project.

The entire shipment ultimately arrived at its destination safely and on schedule.
