I. Project Overview

Operation Time: Late March 2026

Transport Route: Shanghai — Bangkok, Thailand (Air Freight, EXW terms)

Cargo Information: Water pipes (5.9 meters in length) and aluminum accessories

II. Operational Difficulties

1. Ultra-Long Dimensions: The core cargo, water pipes, reached a length of 5.9 meters, far exceeding conventional air freight loading limits. This posed exceptionally high requirements for cabin space matching and cargo securing, carrying a significant risk of rejection by airlines or damage during transit.

2. Customs Clearance Risks: The accompanying "aluminum accessories" are classified as key monitored items by Customs, which easily trigger system alerts and manual inspections. If processed under routine procedures, inspection delays could likely result in missing the scheduled flight.

III. realogistics Solutions and Core Advantages

Facing these challenges, the realogistics team responded swiftly, ensuring the smooth shipment of the cargo through "forward planning" and "customized services":

1. Customized Packaging and Loading to Overcome Oversize Challenges During the quotation phase, realogistics acutely identified the potential risks and proactively provided the client with a customized wooden crate packaging solution. Simultaneously, we immediately coordinated with the airline to secure an exclusive loading position for this special cargo. We jointly developed a securing scheme combining "professional extended pallets + flexible cushioning materials" to effectively prevent shaking and abrasion during transit. During the cargo entry and handover process, realogistics assigned dedicated personnel for escorting and strict supervision of the loading and unloading, completely eliminating the risk of collision damage.

2. Advance Declaration and Contingency Plans to Resolve Clearance Delays To guarantee the flight schedule, the realogistics customs team intervened early regarding the monitored items. realogistics proactively arranged for the cargo to be warehoused ahead of schedule and initiated the declaration process as early as possible. Meanwhile, we guided the client to prepare a detailed "Letter of Explanation" prior to shipment. This proactive approach significantly accelerated the efficiency of the Customs manual review and effectively prevented the risk of inspection delays.

IV. Delivery Results

Under the meticulous coordination of the realogistics team, this highly challenging shipment achieved a seamless transition from customs declaration to final release. The cargo was successfully and flawlessly delivered to the airline one day before the flight departure.
